Muffin Man of the Hour: Frank Zappa 80

It's 9pm on December 17th, and I am preposting this because I am likely going to seek medical attention for my stuff in the morning and may not be around for awhile.

As you likely know, today culminates the feast of Zappadan, which begins the day of Frank's passing (12/4) and ends on the 21st with his birthday.

This year he'd have been 80, so it's a tremendous milestone.

There isn't much to say about this iconic figure that you wouldn't pick up from the beautiful recent documentary by Alex Winter.

If you haven't already seen it, I must recommend you do so enthusiastically and ASAP.

Outside of that, we have a magnificent share to commemorate the occasion, itself one of greatest FM broadcasts of the man in action, and presented here in the super-deluxe, beautifully repaired Zappateers definitive edition.

I'm gonna try and rest now, and like I said don't be surprised if this is it for a bit.

If I do have to stay in the hospital and this is it for 2020, it's a good way to end. I will try, though, to do more if my health allows.

Aside from that, I wish total, perfect peace and safety to anyone reading this, and thank you all so much for being here. Here's to many more, and all the best holiday wishes wherever you may be. 💝--J.
